JetLite, with its headquarters in Mumbai, was an airline owned by Jet Airways. With primary hubs in Delhi and secondary hubs in Mumbai and Kolkata, the airline’s focus cities were Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin and Hyderabad.
 
The airline has presently stopped all its operations since it merged with Jet Airways Konnect on March 25, 2012. The new airline, now officially called JetKonnect, will continue to provide low rates and exceptional services to the passengers of both the earlier aircraft. 


Earlier, the airline had a fleet size of 19 aircraft that provided flight services to 30 destinations domestically. Its fleet consisted of only Boeing aircraft. It had chartered helicopter services too. The passengers had to buy food onboard the flight by paying extra.
 
With the upgrade, the passengers enjoy superior in-flight services and the airline expands to connect as many as 56 cities within India. It operates 430 flights daily. The fleet size includes Boeing and ATR aircraft. The code-sharing agreements with other major airlines definitely have an impact on the passengers in a positive way.

The fleet of JetKonnect has distinct colours. The premiere passengers can enjoy meal and food and beverage options, better seats and upgraded ground services. The premiere passengers also have access to special check-in counters and lounges while the Economy travel passengers have to buy food on the flight through the JetCafe service. So, the former JetLite comes back to you with some salient features such as easy online booking facilities, better check-in options and great earning of miles.
