Jet Airways India Issues Press Statement Regarding Labor Issues

Jet Airways India has been considered an enterprise that has always paid attention to its employees and unlike most other airlines in the Indian subcontinent has not faced many labor problems either. The latest news that the technicians of the airline wore clack bands to work to protest against the lapse of some financial commitments made by the airline has therefore come as a surprise to many. The airline however issued an official statement soon after that reiterated its commitment towards its employees and brought about some peace to those who follow the happenings of the airline closely.

Airlines in India have always faced employee problems in the past and it seems that Jet Airways India too can now join the list. The airline has recently been seeing a protest by its technicians who have worn black bands to work to protest against a poor hike in salary among other things. Though the work has not been affected in any way and the airline has not faced any problems as far as the work schedules of these personnel are concerned, even the black bands were enough to set the damage control units of the airline to be set into motion.

The management of Jet Airways Flights has also pointed out that they were in discussions with the staff and were in the process of explaining to them the current financial situation that the airline industry at large and the airline in particular is faced with.
